You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both, and there you have....

So.

TransSiberian Orchestra was great! It was a great show, the pagentry of this "band" (for lack of a better word) is unbelievable. And as an added bonus, Robin Zander of Cheap Trick showed up to play a few songs. On the other hand, the people sitting behind us (floor seats, row 9), not so great. Drunk as donkeys, loud, and TALKATIVE. We heard all about the love relationships of the band, shows they've done, what's coming up next, singing along to the music, and critiques of the evening's performance. The best parts of the night were when he was in the bathroom. At one point we, and the row in front of us, heard him proclaim loudly..."I have to go to the bathroom again. I have no bladder control!" Thanks, dude.

I took the day off Friday because both kids had half days and of I had to pick up BB at almost the same time J had to pick up Ian on the other side of the river. I decided since Molly was at the babysitter that I would take the kids to the movies. BB has been asking to see Twilight. We had a great time. BB loved the movie and is "in love" with Edward. Ian saw Will Smith's new movie "Seven Pounds" and said it was kind of a chick flick but it was good.

By the time we got home from the show, J was home from work, so we decorated the Christmas tree and Mom/Dad/H2/HsGF came over for pizza. A good time was had by all.

I can honestly say that all my Christmas shopping is done. Some of the wrapping as well. J received a gift certificate for Honeybaked Ham, so we'll be having Honeybaked ham and turkey for Christmas dinner, and we bought the groceries for the rest of the meal. (Mom, I'm holding you to dessert!) BUT, I just couldn't get my act together enough to do Christmas cards this year. Does that make me a grinch? I wanted to do photo cards but time just kept getting away and now it's too late. Oh well. Maybe next year I'll start working on it around Halloween.

I so wish I had been at TSO with you ... would have been a different experience for the loud-mouths! hehe

And don't feel too bad about the holiday cards either ... I totally spaced it this year.
