Happy 14th birthday to Ian!! I can't believe he's already 14, where has the time gone? On my "gift" CD from Jerrod, there is a song, "Beautiful Boy", (this version is) sung by Ben Harper, that makes me think of Ian everytime I hear it. I feel like I'm going to turn around and he's going to be a man and he's not ready for it yet. I'm not ready for it yet. I'm excited to see the man he is going to be and sad he's not going to be my little boy much longer.

It's funny. When I look at Ian, I don't see a 14 year old, I see the 3 year old playing tug-a-war with Gruffers. That is my mental image of Ian. Dear Lawd, I bet you can't wait for the dating years!!! You're going to blink twice and you're going to be a grandma!
